This chest guard encapsulates one layer of impact-dispersing foam inside another layer and is then compressed and contoured with thicker areas carefully placed and shaped at the most critical strike zones. Designed with a deeper scoop neckline than most traditional chest guards to give the martial artist more breathing room and comfort especially when worn with a full head guard or head guard with face shield. Shaped to fit around the torso of the body providing ample coverage to critical strike zones, including the solar plexus and kidney areas without compromising mobility. Deeper contour cuts under the arms and higher cuts over the hips enable martial artists to engage in various kick and jump kick positions without worrying about the chest protector shifting out of place.
